I’ve been using Kubuntu for a long time, got a bit bored with it, so I tried out Mint LMDE 6… there was so much hype. After two weeks, I started screaming… The relief was returning to K LTS. It’s wonderful when everything works as it should.

I accidentally bricked windows trying to duel boot Kubuntu on my gaming desktop, the thing is a beast, I had been using Ubuntu on my laptop for months and do you know what? I don’t even care, I just changed it to a full install, deleting windows because honestly i only ever log in to windows to play wow or FF14 and my windows was unlocked using KMSPICO anyway, I am glad it’s gone. Looking forwards to daily driving Kubuntu with 32GB RAM and an overclocked 5600x. I have Windows 11 duel booted on my Laptop (oem version) so i have that to fall back on.

kde plasme give high customization option, for new users i recomend to create a new user and try new things and if its work implement to your main user,if anything happen you dont need to mess with main user.

Thinking of shifting to Kubuntu from Elementary OS 6.1 . Elementary has been a great os and I’m using it for long time. But it still on Ubuntu 20.04. I want to upgrade to Ubuntu 22. Which one will be better in terms of experience? Kubuntu or KDE Neon? I’m a moderate user who primarily uses VS Code, Neovim and Mozilla only.

I was used KDE from version 3 but since the migration from v3 to v4 of KDE have a lot of issues with Plasma I swicth to Xubuntu because I was also a fan of XFCE … A few years ago I give a try to Kubuntu 18.04 LTS and since then I never look back ! “Don’t compete, cooperate !” Cheers
